Fire safety has become a major concern due to the ubiquitous use of polymers. The development flame retardant polymer materials consequently experienced huge growth in market size. New strategies and legislation have also been proposed save lives property. science economics retardancy, fire regulations, new technologies are under permanent evolution. This review paper focuses on revisiting classifying recent developments knowledge technology demonstrating qualitative quantitative analyses carried out their properties. In particular, it comprehensively addresses progress made future prospects for designing precise structures via innovative technologies, particularly 3D printing - as state-of-the-art manufacturing methodology providing features this realm research retardancy performances.
